Hey guys,I need help!I'm wondering if I can fit a sr20det rwd into a nissan pickup/hardbody? Will it only drop into the 90-97? or will it fit in the 85-89 too? What will I need? I already have a sr20det rwd in a 240sx. Can I just take the whole swap and drop it into the truck? Please help me out asap...The local people here don't know much about nissans. Thanx.

Ive seen a couple people do this swap, and it's a lot of CUSTOM work, unless you are a fabricator by trade, it's gonna cost an a$$ load of money, stick with the 240sx, it's a sweet ride with the sr20

Hey I picked up a 94 hardbody for $700. The lifters were tapping in the motor that is currently in it and they had just broke the timing chain cover. I'm wanting to do an sr20 swap. Is there anywhere I can get some guidence, pics, list of what I need ect? I've put a stock motor in a Hardbody like this before but I'm wondering about guages and the Harness and what not.

Well, it can be done. It's not that easy though! I had an automatic KA24DE, now it's a 5 speed S13 SR20DET! I did the swap back in 2001. If you have any questions, let me know. It's been a long time since the swap.
