SR inspection problems??
ok many poeple are saying there are problems with the STR passing inspections. i was planning on doing a swap this summer, but now im having second thoughts. is it really that much trouble for an inspection with the SR installed??? i need to know!!

I dont know why so many people say this. Unless your state has visual inspection you have a better chance in passing than with the KA motor. The motor passed emissions cleaner than the KA motor........in my case anyway. NJ doesnt have visual inspection so they dont open the hood. You can pass here anyway...........
not if you're obdII, right? won't they just plug in and look for codes? they won't get a reading from the sr20. this is for texas. if anyone KNOWS what it is for TX, please correct me. I want an s14, but now I'm getting discouraged because of the emission, now thinking of not getting a 240 at all :-(
