How do you have a Rogue when it's not released yet?

What do you mean?? We bought this Rogue at Mossy Nissan in San Diego, CA. They had 6 of them on the lot, we special ordered ours with all the options. Where are you getting your information?

I'm guessing the fact that it's still listed on Nissan's website as a future vehicle, not part of the lineup, and the fact that it seems noone else besides you has seen one.

Also, 6k miles is a lot to have on a vehicle that again, by all accounts, hasn't been released. You're sure this is a Rogue, not a Murano or Versa?

Mossy Nissan hasn't even received any Rogues yet. They won't arrive until August.

As stated, the Rogue is not supposed to be released until August (along with the Altima Coupe, G37 Coupe, etc.). Are you sure you are not thinking about the Versa? If it is indeed the Rogue, some pix would be nice.

Well the back says Murano, but it is the same thing as Rogue, all they changed was the badges and the interior trim pieces. Mechanically, the Rogue and Murano are the same things.

How are two vehicles with different chassis and different engines the same thing? Also, how does she have an '08 Murano, if those aren't out yet either?

This is the Rogue and it does not look like the Murano.

Not even CLOSE to correct. Different platform, different engines, different size, different wheelbase...

Nissan Qashqai, Bluebird Sylphy, Sentra and Rogue are Nissan C-platform vehicles.

Nissan Altima, Maxima and Murano are FF-L platform vehicles.

Won't be for long - I think this car is going to be a home run for Nissan...

Yep. Just look at the Toyota Rav4. Safe bet no one ever purchased one of those based on looks...

Man. . this is the first I've seen of it. . looks like a slightly restyled Murano to me -- know it's not, alright, not where I'm going with this. . I like it, but it does LOOK like a Murano to me.

With that said, I'd pimp it. . and fueler, I don't remember giving you permission to leave the Pathfinder forum!!

A black altima coupe with a 30-day tag blew past me and my buddy on the highway in Topeka, KS last weekend, guy was hauling arse in it.

So the Rouge is a compact version of the Murano? I like

That'd be a good question considering Nissan isn't producing the Murano in '08. They;re completely taking them out of production in order to re-design them for MY '09.

Just to let you know that Nissan will not release a 2008 Nissan Murano. Nissan is going to skip a model year and release a 2009 Nissan Murano in Janurary...
