Hi I just got a 1996 240sx se with a KA 5 speed, the speedometer will work and other times it will not work, same goes for the odometer. The previous owner said he replaced the speedometer and odometer but it did not fix the problem. Any ideas what could be the problem and any DIYs that I could be pointed to?

Also I checked the speed sensor all seems to be good there, but i guess i could be wrong any test that can be done?
