I was driving today and looked down at my speedometer and it said I was going zero miles an hour. Could this just be a computer glitch? When I stopped for a stop light and started moving again it was working fine.
Has anyone else had this happen before?

My Z's speedo often stopped but it was a convertible and it was concluded that direct sunlight could cause the problem. If I'd change direction or put my hand over it, it'd get fixed. If remember correctly, my sunroof was open so that may be the cause of it. I'll try to see if I can recreate the problem again.

Hi Boiler, Noticed the same issue several times over the last 2 weeks. Just picked up the car and have been paying strict attention to gas mileage. Only way to get it back working has been to hit the re-set button which is silly as it blows the calculation. Ideally would like it to work until the next gas fill up but that has not happend yet.
