Ok..I've got a 1993 automatic Hardbody with a cable driven speedometer. However, I put in a rb20 w/transmission that has an electric speed sensor. I think that the electric speed sensor was actually the stock one from the s13 240 it was in.

So basically:

1) was the stock US s13 240 cable driven or electric??2) does the stock r32 have a cable driven speed sensor??3) if the r32 was indeed a cable-driven (like I think), will it work correctly with the cable-driven speedometer in the hardbody??

#3 seems like a stupid question, but look at the tach problems when swapping motors....so I just had to ask!! need to know..

My only other option is to hack up my gauge cluster and put in the electric speedometer from my s13.....

My automatic hardbody cable-driven speed sensor has a gear that is 3/4 inch wide, but the electric sensor I am using (out of a US s13???) has a gear that is 1 full inch wide....no direct interchange there.

Any other cable driven nissans have a 1" gear on them??

Here's a pic of my hardbody cluster with a R32 tach swapped into it...

These are the stock electric s13(??) speed sensor and the stock automatic hardbody cable-driven speed sensor.

Is there any US car that uses a cable driven speed sensor that fits the RB20, or does anyone know where I can get a stock r32 cable-driven speed sensor?? I need it baddddly!!!
