That sounds about correct. And if your odometer measures in miles instead of km, you have one of the "Defective" Canadian Versas. It might be something to pay attention to in the morning... see how long it takes to tick over a "mile" on the odometer.Papa Don’t Take No Mess wrote:The interior of my Versa Hatch (as I will call if for now) is flat woven cloth. So let me get this straight, it is Canadien spec Versa SL, but it was probably made in Mexico and then sold in the U.S. I appreciate all the info. I'm just curious about the vehicle. Is there anything else anybody can tell me about Canadien spec. vehicles? I still like My automatic. I wish I got the extra couple mpg's that CVT is supposed to give you but I still have averaged 30 mpg in the first two tanks (city/highway).

Hmm... that's actually not the answer I was expecting. I was expecting a "mile" to click over in a really short manner (as in, actually a kilometer, not a mile).Papa Don’t Take No Mess wrote:Funny you should mention that, I was watching it this morning. I swear it took longer to go a mile. how will that play out with miles per gallon. I am definitely not a mathmatician. However I do understand probability.

That's just hard to believe. You pay a sizeable premium for the CVT so how anyone would not know is .......suspicious.superskunk wrote:so how exactly do you know if you have the cvt? when i bought the car i asked the dealer and he didnt know,
