speed limiter

i own a 97 240sx se auto and have had my speedo stuck on the odometer reset a few times , anyone with a 95-98 240 knows what i mean. my speedo stops at 120 but will go until it hits the odometer reset button, im guessing at that point im going about 130 and i notice that even thought my speedo is stoped the rpms are still raising. so im gonna say about 135 mph, a kid i know here also has a 97 240 auto but the le his has leather, he says he cant go faster than 112 then he hits a speed limiter! is he full of crap or is mine a freak of nature????????

all I know is my S13 has a speed inhibiter at 118 miles per hour.

yeah mine has one too but it tends to change... sometimes its closer to 110, some days its past an indicated 120...speedo is bull**** at that speed anyway

Mine hits the limiter always at 193kph as indicated by the Power Meter
