Allow me to once again reiterate my intense hatred for all things Halo.

Have fun with your advance copy, though. I'd kill for an advance copy of Half Life 2.

Is there anyone on XBL for Halo 2 yet?

Ohhh, that’s not my copy, its some dude in MI... My brother is the halo freak... I just find it amusing that Meijer's f-ed up. Personally I don’t like the game, I don’t even have an Xbox, and I simply don’t have time to play and if I did I wouldn’t be playing halo, lol. I doubt anyone is on xbl with it yet since its not suppose to be out until next Tuesday... but who knows.

You know as NICO was growing, i took comfort that I had a place to retreat to... Its like the vacation place of NICO... Lots of cool cars, decently (different) cool people, and the main topic is cars and scantily clad women...

I own a car that was targeted a generation behind me...

Well I'm stuck with a Ford (not really that bad, but it IS an ultra bottom end strip model Ranger with no power and a rice-rocket 2.3 liter) while my Maxima is in the shop AGAIN because the damn transmission shop ****ed up my car. The shift points are all FUBAR and the 1-2 shift feels like I've been hit by a semi. They tried to convince me that the hard 1-2 shift is due to a bad engine mount (the forward mount) and the engine torqueing and slamming. There's no way in hell that's enough to cause the slam I feel. Oh, and there's the fact that THEY are responsible for the bad mount. It wasn't like that before it went in to their shop. Now its terrible. The engine's about to rip itself free of the car.

Imagine going from 2500/3000 rpm from 1 to 2, to 5000 rpm from 1 to 2. The car redlines at 6000. Anyone else see a problem there? Well the tranny shop doesn't. They keep saying "it doesn't feel off to me." HOW THE HELL IS SHIFTING AT 1000 FROM REDLINE AT NO MORE THAN HALF THROTTLE NOT OFF!!?? I had to take the car to their "build shop" which is 20 minutes away and the most I got out of them was "We'll take a look at it if you leave it here, but there's probably nothing we can do." They said they'd call me that afternoon. They didn't that was yesterday. Haven't heard from them.

I explained the logic in my side of the argument:

1. I gave them $2400 to FIX my car.2. They never said anything about the car not being the same after they finished it. If they had, I would have taken it elsewhere.3. The car WAS perfect before, so WHY can the NOT make it the same NOW?4. Again, I paid them--$2400!! I could have bought an M30 for only 600 more! A rear drive sports car!5. For that $2400 all I got was terrible shift points way past peak power, slamming shifts that are going to do the tranny in within a year, and some whiny techs who seem to have everything in the world to do besides listen to the complaints of a paying customer.

Very BAD experience. I had better hear from them by the end of Monday, or I'm going to be REALLY pissed.

I HATE people!
