Repo, you should make this sticky. We need something in here like the Louisville Maxima Enthusiasts thread in the Maxima General Chat. I bet we could hit 16 pages in...in...aw, hell. In a while.

No, you're not late. It's kinda hard to be late to anything here. One whole, two post exchange can take days. And besides, as repo and 1der have demonstrated so well lately, if you feel the need, you can always just bump it back to the top. And you really won't be late if repo makes this sticky.

haha it doesn't need to be a sticky though...

the only reason I can think of for them in this forum is for all the threads to be in alphabetical order....

on that note, I say do it Andy!

Yeah...I almost know what that is like. I have supermoderator powers at my own forum. Problem is, I'm the only person who uses it. Well, me and Bweep. And Satan. Satan's there, too. HAHA! I get to jump into Satan's threads! Not even Andy can claim that. Somehow...it still just isn't all that fulfilling. Damn.Ima go heat up a hot pocket now.

So I'm sitting here at work, watching taped episodes of Black Adder the Second, at 2:00. I'm really tired. Really tired. Right now the treadmill in the corner looks like a really nice bed. I should go brew some coffee. And have another caffeine pill. Third in two hours. But at least I won't fall asleep.

Anyhow...I'm just trying to find anything and everything possible to occupy my mind so I don't fall asleep. And for some reason I feel like saying dammit.

Somehow, I don't think that would go over well with the boss.Ah, well. I'm making money. And besides, its a hell of a lot better than having to wake up at 5:00 am for work...at least I'm awake most of the time.

Well...I do a lot of web surfing...mostly just reading through posts here. I also watch movies--we have a TV/VCR and DVD player. Yesterday I brought my XBox in and played Fable. I also play Magic: The Gathering and my game boy is always helpful. Right now, I'm watching Monty Python's Flying Circus on DVD. I also like to go to the Steel Battalion forums and read about the game that is on its way in to the local Game Stop for me. But around 3 am there is this sort of lul, where things are even slower than normal and I get very tired.

Oh wait...I just realized...you meant what to I do for my job. Yeah...I knew that. I am a security dispatcher. I pretty much stare at a computer screen and wait for a signal to come in form an alarm (private, homes, companies, all sorts of alarms). Most signals are just the system talking to itself, and most alarms are false, so its really pretty slow, leaving lots of time for detailed NICO posts like this one. It's really pretty fun though, since the people I work with are all cool and there's a lot of free time. It'll be nice when I'm back in school, I'll be able to do my homework here.

HEY!!! I used to work at Pizza Hut and I still have my uniform. I might even have a pizza bag in my trunk... Ahh its nice when things fall into place.

On a side note, my copy of Steel Battalion finally came in. The game is incredible. It's quite realistic, and the scale of the VT's is awesome. Too bad the controller is too big to pack up, or I'd bring it in to work.

haha that game rocks...

I've had my friend's copy for over a year now...

sadly, I've only played it a few times being the controller is annoying to lug around...

lemme tell ya though, it's great getting the damn mech running really fast then trying to make a hard turn and falling over in it...especially on a 52" TV

Yep...and its fun to sit on the left ot people playing it so you can push the strafe pedal and make them jump sideways when trying to blow thing up. Bweep has hit me a few times for that. You've had your friends copy...I see I'm not the only one who borrows things indefinitely. I was unpacking a box I forgot about (I just moved about a month ago) and found my friend's (who I haven't seen since high school...over a year ago) copy of state of emergency. Oops. I hate the game, so I think I'll sell it. I also found a bunch of Mech Warrior Dark Age booster packs he bought the last week of high school and left in my truck (My Max was still my dad's then). There's like $40 dollars worth of mechs in there! And I don't know his phone number so I can't exactly call him...might as well sell 'em!

Here's a question for repo man:

What was the original context for the quote I see floating in various signatures:

IIRC, there was even a vid clip.
