can anyone tell me whats wrong? when i get on the gas pedal it pulls until i get to 3500 rpm and lacks power and won't go further than 3500. but its just fine when im in neutral and rev it

there's a problem in the car thats preventing it from working properly. try using a code scanner and run the VIN by dealership for possible recalls.

Safe mode prevents the car from revving beyond what the ECU/Nissan determines is a safe range when there is a problem.

Again, is the check engine light on? That's the first step toward fixing it. I can sit here and guess crap all day, but life is a lot simpler if you find out what your car is already telling you. If the light is on, have Autozone (or an equivalent place) run the code and come back to us with what it is/what they say it means.

yes my check engine light is on and they said it was misfiring but i think its the MAF because 2day it completely shut down on me on the highway and my car cut off and i had 2 unhook the MAF to make it home

Get the code checked. That's a surefire way of narrowing down what it is.

If they said misfire, it probably states a reason for it with the code. The light isn't there to be pretty, it's there to tell you something is wrong. Use it.

they said it could be my injectors my coil packs or spark plugs but i just changed my sprk plugs and they doubt its the spark plugs
