Hey i was wondering if Iridium spark plugs are better then and platnium ones. And are used Nology wires with about 35K miles on them still better then like brand new ngk ones? I was just wondering if Nology wires are so exspensive, are they that good?

I think its just a personal opinion....I got NGK's in mine and they work great. For the wires I got Accel ones that work fine as well. I had iridium before but I really didn't notice anything different. So I switched back to NGK's and it works great. For the Nology I haven't really heard anything bad.

I believe Nissan's work best with NGK plugs.

I run ngk plugs (oem plats) and accel wires. The only reason I swapped wires was that the accel units where cheaper (through enjuku and a local pickup) then the dealer cost price of oem wires, and mine had between 7k and 10k ohms resistance in them. The accel wires had only 400 - 500 (iirc it was a long time ago) ohms resistance through them new.

Thats the main thing, resistance, and the thing that makes the neglidgeable hp increase. Test your wires to see where they lie, and decide if its worth it to you. I doubt 30k mile (who knows how much idle time as well) wires will be better then fresh oem wires. Like I said test them and see.
