sound system sub?

so i have the bose sound system in my car and i was wondering if anyone knows if a JL audio 10w7 will fit in the space behind my seat where the factory sub is? i know i can get the custom box that fits in the back but i was hoping i could just swap out the bose sub and have everything be good?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but Bose systems will not work with anything other than Bose parts.
