HOT!

Pics PICS PICS!

But honestly, I would have went out and bought a base Ferrari or base Lambo if I had that money in the first place. (Cost of G + Cost of mods = over 100,000)

Ferrari > G

that's the thing.. when you've really got money to burn.. its not about going and buying what other folks have... its about creating your own and TRUELY customizing it..

I've put ~10K into my Altima (that's 42K total), yeah, I could have used that money, and bought a G7, but that's not what I wanted to do.. and I don't have a fraction of the money this guys has that's customizing his G35

lol, the wtf was for the fact that he dropped 80g's into a 35-40k car. I think i would have just gone after the GT-R or something...I mean its cool having a unique car, but it's still a G35 in the end no matter what you do...

I wish i had that kind of money to just toss around...

Eh, sucide doors dont look right on really anything to me. With the exception of the RX8, they are just ugly.

Right, the rear doors are suicide, thanks The new Nissan Foria concept has rear suicides at well.

Coupe suicides have been done. If you want to see them, goto google.

I think this is the only factory car with front suicide doors.

Back in the day the old "scooby-doo" flat face vans had suicide front doors. They call them suicide doors because they would often pop open in a crash - allowing the passengers to fly out of the car.

Besides the old school lincolns with the rear suicide doors and the current Rx8 rear doors - I don't think there are too many examples of factory cars. I'm sure there is some regulation Rolls Royce had to get around in order to do it.

That G better be able to fly and go "Back to the future", otherwise it seems like a waste of money.

Turbo and engine- $15kPaint-$2-$3k unless it's a candy or chameleonSuicide doors- WHY?Maybe another $5k in audio/video and $4k in wheels/tires.

I'm at 30k. Where's the other $50k going?

new turbo engine from japan? like what...twin turbo form gtr? obviously this person has more money then they know what to do with it. should have got gtr and souped that one up.

unless it was a gift from someone to do mods for that specific car...this doesn't make any sense. really curious about the end result though

Ok, sorry, didn't get to go by syndicate today... the pics will have to wait until Monday!

I'm not even gonna try to respond to each one of your questsions, or justify why this guy is spending this kind og money on this car.... but just to respond to a few...

the owner of the car is indeed a millionaire, and he may very well buy a GT-R (from my nderstanding he's got 4 other expensive cars... again, you guys are missing the point regarding modifications... OLD BORING GUYS WITH NO CREATIVITY buy stock fast cars... young rich guys make cars fast by modifying them... (and still buys the STOCK FAST ONES to go out on the weekends or to take out his dates )

those are prices that people on a budget pay... 4K for rims/tires????? try 4-5K a piece for 3 piece rims!

3K for paint??? try 5-10K

your prices are WAAAYYYY off for a real custom shop...

Look guys, this isn't budget fix=er-up shop we're talking about, this is SYNDICATE we're talking about!!!

These are the guys that have taken all the business from WEST COAST CUSTOMS since they went belly up! These are the guys with 4 install bays that look like factory.... this is a top notch company with 150-200/hr labor charges!!!

not sure what this has to do with the conversation, but yes I do, however, my buddy that use to work with my audio shop got hired as the new manager at SYNDICATE, that's why I'm there from time to time!

If these prices are considered cheap bargains, then I am truly very poor for mods

Seriously, 4-5k on wheels is NOT cheap. it may be cheap for the ELITE few who are millionaires, but for normal people like me and others on NICO, I do not consider that a bargain.

Sorry Doc,

My mod prices are directly related to performance. 1 piece forged rims are far more valueable (in my mind) than 3 piece, super heavy rims. I'd really love some 18x9 18x10 AME Shallen CX rims, they retail for around $700/each. 20s would be nice too, but completely defeats the purpose of having a SPORTS coupe.

I can get a factory 3 stage with mirror finish for 2k. 3k is just for kicks. 5k-10k better bring in some amazing paint.

I guess we all have our priorities and appreciations. With the recent trend of super delayed turbo installs from "custom shops", I have lost a lot of respect for the industry as a whole.

I dont understand why everyone cares so much about this guy's money. Most of ur neighbors have a mill or more in savings, you just don't know it. And I totally totally agreee with rjd about having a car that you've made your own. And in response to a "souped" up (lol) GTR, most magazines have said that any alterations to the car would most likely take away from the peformance. The only downfall noticed during testing is not an impressive enough sound. An exhaust could be installed, however, it would take away from the performance of the vehicle. Id rather have a modded Altima than an exotic, b/c it expresses me and my style.

Unless you have money for a hot car and money to mod it. Id totally drop 80k into a G Coupe. It's MADE to be modded and MADE to perform, you just need a little push to get more out of it.

You said it in your own post, a million in SAVINGS. Savings are meant for retirement and vacations, not for modding cars. The guy who spends $80k on mods, has much more than a million in savings, and at least hundreds of thousands in checking. Heck, almost everyone of us will have a million dollar savings acct when we retire, if we take care of our IRA and 401k accounts properly.
