1992 N/A M/T Slicktop 2+0 retrofitted with 1994 VG30DE. I know both of my sprockets are bad so I'll save y'all the usual "what's this noise?" questionnaire. What I do want to know is what are the negative effects they can have on my engine if I continue to drive it? And also, when I DO get my adjustable BDE rebuilds, what kind of advance/retard do people usually get on a stock tune?

Or

What degree range should I aim for with the following:

Headers, X pipe, spitfire coils, no cats, EGR delete, pod filter, and an oil catch can.

Last question. My ignition timing is 17* BTDC. I know the ECU will advance timing through the rpm range safely because of the knock sensor. My CAS doesn't look like it will want to move and I'm not getting any pinging so should I be alright at +2* over recommended advance? Or could I actually get more advance with my mods and a higher octane? Just thinkin/hoping it'd be pretty cool if I had to get a high torque starter

More fuel + more air = more power. Intake and exhaust would be the best bets, then spark
