sohc to doch cluster question

i've searched, i just don't know if im not wording it correctly, but! will my SOHC sub harness work if i swapped in a dohc cluster?

NOTE: i have a HUD, and im swapping in a DOHC analog cluster

yes it will work. There is a 6inch sub-harness that goes to the HUD that gets removed, but everything else is compatible as far as wiring goes.

ok problem, i have 3 plugs, 1 plugs into the DOHC cluster, and the other 2 dont??

the doch cluster has 3 places for plugs on it
