so i got a stock ka24e motor for my car (i plan on turboing it later on) and its waiting for motor mounts and a radiator so i can put it in. while it sits there ive been taking things off and cleaning them up so it doesnt look dirty when i put it in. ive been reading about removing emissions system stuff to clean up the intake. if i took them off would it still pass emissions when i take it to get registered? or should i wait till i pass an emisions test to take that crap off?can anybody help me out?

Its probably better to pass emissions first and then remove everything. I don't know about your state, but here in California, if you remove emissions, you'll automatically fail the visual test.
