hi hi hi!I see a lot of people say soch piston will ran great in a dohc ka24.Any people have that setup!? People say a lot of thing but never see a setup with soch piston. Like 3 people do that. And the life of the ka? He will be good with 11:1 of compression? Thanks a lot! Before to send that post I do search. hehe

you will have a hole in your wallet after this i was about to do it and i did my research , and you will have to run premium fuel all the time so you wont be knocking doors.... if you know what i mean...lolz, but seriously you'll spend a lot on gas and i don't think it will be too reliable, but if you decide to do it make sure you have clearance with the valves and all that crap... good luck

Thanks again! I will put sohc piston and see what happen. The late version of sohc have good piston. So the co will be 11:1 and not 11:6:1.

there's dished sohc pistons and flat top sohc pistons, the flat top's will give you 11.6:1 or so, the dished will give you ~10.5:1.

i agree with TheOne on compression however its very unlikely u find flat tops they will have a slight dome ...ive been down this road ...you will enjoy it if you can get everything done and the compression will beat on that motor ... the power gains are awsome just make sure its tuned properly and lets see what results u get ...i did it and it was fun but thats about as much tuning as the motor could handle

if you need some, i'll sell you mine for $100 + shipping, they come slight dome, with rods, and new piston rings.

You'll ping. Period. You'll need some way to tune the car, because even fully retarding the dizzy, the car is going to have to much timing.
