Well, maybe S.F.V. and surrounding areas specifically, unless you really want to drive... I was wondering if you all would be alright with organizing some kind of meet? It doesn't have to be a regular thing. Just one time. I just want to meet other Z owners and see what they got. I want to learn a few more things that I may not know about the car. I don't know... probably a silly question, but I might as well throw it out there.

You might post this in the California regional forum. If you make it an all Nissan/Infiniti meet, you'll get a much better turnout.

These are a royal pain to do.

Be sure to have something planned and a back up and another back up. I did this with the SoCal G guys and we had issues with not being able to adapt "Swarm" behavior.

Everyone kept looking to me for direction. If you're getting together for a drive. Make sure you have a nice route with minimal traffic. Also find out what caliber of drivers you have. I like to DRIVE. Others in our group were a little...SLOW!

I'm up for this! I don't really care where in So Cal as long as my drive to the meet does not exceed 3 hours. I live in L.A.

Hell ya I'm down for a meet...it's about time someone tries to set up a Z meet. All I can seem to find is 240 meets. Just set a date (hopefully on a Thursday or Friday, my days off) and I will be there. As to my whereabouts, I had to lay low for awhile. The retarded moderator and his clones were threatening to cut me off the site. It seems that it's ok for some people to do one thing on NICO, and not ok for others. I called them out, and all they could do was say how "hard" it is to moderate this thing ..whatever. Any who, give me a ring on the cellie when you all want to meet up, cause once they read this post, I'll probably get the boot or get the thread locked. That's their way of handling things around here.

Alright peeps Let's do this! Roscoes Sounds good. Who's up for it? I say the 12th of September only cause it's been a while since a meet, and I want roscoes. haha!

I know this place in Hermosa Beach called Rocky Cola Cafe, they are open hella late and they have some delicious healthy food! We can go for a cruise on PCH, then meet up at Rocky Cola. Parking lot is not too large, maybe enough space for 20 cars.

Or San Pedro boardwalk, delicious food there! Throw some ideas people!

rmezz13 the current 350Z Moderator simply wanted things to stay on topic. He voiced his opinion IN the thread that was questionable at the time and it was paid no heed. So it was locked...

This was then discussed amoung the other staff members of Nico, I of course was the one that emailed you about the situation. I did so in a professional and polite manner.

You on the other hand have been slinging insults and generally acting like a child that lost his "woobie".

You're now being told to knock it off. Anymore crybaby antics and calling out of the staff for something that happened forever ago will simply result in your being banned from Nico.

What does this mean? Just post like a normal person, stop calling the Mods and or members retarded. That's it...not hard to do at all. Just let it go...

If you have an issue with the way we handle things, feel free to email me, [email protected] or any of the site admins.

.....................................................................................................................

I do hope you guys have a really good "meet", make sure to take pics of the event. We can probably put some of the nicer pics up on the homepage.

Man if I was anywhere close I'd set up everything and have a whole list of places to drive to etc. But I'm in the middle of nowhere TX...so life sucks for me

We have had smaller type meets at places like Sonic and such. I have talked with the management of various places and they were more then happy to let us hang out and whatnot so long as we bought a drink or whatever.

Had a "Daised and Confused" atmosphere Key the song..."Sweet Emotion"...

Let me instill some insight for your meet:

-Don't trash talk staff. Especially in your meet thread. The last thing you want it your thread to dissapear and people can't see it.

-PCH sounds like a great place to take a drive, until you have a huge length of cars in traffic with half-drunken idiots on the road (not your group, just typical of PCH).

-Setup an itinerary and stick to it (give yourself LOTS of extra time). Make sure everybody attending gets a copy. That way late-comers know where to find the group.

-A slow windy road will be more fun than a highway "race". The lack of traffic, lack of illegal activity, and varying driving abilities will mesh better.

-If you guys are up to including the G guys, I could start a thread over there and we could all meet up? If not, no worries.

You don't even have to drive anywhere...

Set up a cool place to meet and chill. Good music, good people and good conversation is all it takes for a pretty fun time IMO.

That would be great if we could make it a G/Z meet. What if we go for a drive on PCH, starting in torrance/palos verdes area, then head over to San Pedro boardwalk area, they always have live music, and lot's of good seafood. Yumm!

I'm going to take a drive to my usual spots this weekend to see where I can go.

I'll report back with pictures and the findings.

Just a suggestion...

There's this amazing road near Newport Beach. It goes through some mountains. I don't remember the name of the road or anything, maybe you guys might know something.

All I remember was that it was a great drive and that it went through some mountains and a park.

Alright, we should do a G and Z meet. Not sure where on PCH they'd have the parking next to shore like along PCH in LA county. I believe that would be perfect place for the meet and some pictures. I just don't know when. not sure what's best for you guys.

Newport pier has semi-decent parking. That's where the last two G meets were held.

Super Autobacs would be cool too.

Yeah, a lot of people meet at super autobacs. But I think we should go somewhere where we could get some pics of the cars with a nice backdrop. I'll take a drive along PCH and see what I find.

Cool, I might go take a look at that road. I want to look for a good drive, then ending at a nice large parking lot, with somewhere to eat.

Now i'm off on a search!

I'll report later tonight, or tomorrow.

Alright people, after almost 1.5 hours of driving up and down the palos verdes/san pedro/ redondo beach area I found a place that might be good enough. There is just a small problem. I'll get in to details.

I was driving all over the coast there, the drive is awesome. I just couldn't find a place that we could stop and take pictures, well, there was a few areas that were pretty cool, only thing was that parking wasn't free. Also, I thought it would be kinda confusing and hard to get to for a first meet. I think we should keep this first meet as simple as possible.

So I set forth after realizing that It would be easier to just have the meet and forget about the drive until later meets.

So I went to Ruby's Diner in Redondo Beach, the only place I remember near the shore that has a large parking lot, enough for 100 cars or so. The only catch is, parking is free for 2 hours with validation from Ruby's. After that you have to pay... I forget how much. What do ya'll think? I took some pictures, but I forgot my camera at my GF's. I'll post those tomorrow afternoon.

If you know of any other places let me know, i'll go check em out.

9/8I skipped on work, and took a drive on Mullholland Drive. What a great drive that was! Great views, lot's of fun. But, there was no parking lot that I saw near there, that had somewhere to chill and maybe eat. Anyone know of somewhere near there?

Awesome research Albert! I'll see about finding more places. OC area is fairly nice, but I haven't really seen any parking areas near the shore. As for VC, there are parking areas near the shore and it's about $7 parking all day. It's just a matter of deciding where everyone is comfortable with. By the way, were you able to acquire the pictures? If so, I'd like to view a few. Thanks again for informing us with what you have found so far. Your diligence is greatly appreciated.

**** Update!!! ****Huntington beach does have parking by the shore and they have quite a lot of spaces. It's $10.00 per day parking. I think this would be an awesome place to have the meet. They have plenty of places to eat. Lots of amenities for everyone. I would love to get in the water! So what do you guys and gals think? This would be absolutely fun! There's going to be plenty of people there. Let's show them what Z's ang G's are about, hehe. J/K. Let's have some beach fun!!!!

There's a diner in Newport...I'll have to look up the name...It has free parking behind it with a decent size parking lot. That's where the G guys stopped last time.

Also, Newport Pier is free after 6pm. The two issues at any beach are:

1) Wind- Unless you like your Z/G sandblasted (this isn't a issue that often)2) Even if the parking is free, is it available?

I'd prefer meeting in OC if you guys don't mind.
