OK, Im bringing rolls...not sure why we need rolls, seeing we are having hamburgers and hot dogs on buns, the more bread the better I guess

SO, what kind of rolls am I to bring? Just regular plain old dinner rolls? I was thinking those sweet bread Hawwain dinner rolls, those are good And how many should I get?

You can't eat those either being a Vegan? Damn... That blows...maybe I'll hit Trader Joe's or Whole foods just for you Rob, and find some organic fully soy locally grown in someones back yard flavorless and tasted like dirt rolls! If they even exist.

You could always HIT UP Mothers Market in the OC...

Hey Rob I'm a little non-educated on the Vegan life style. Could you school me please? No offence. I'm serious.

No worries, I will have food to eat. But ya I can't have those hawaiin rolls, I almost ate one a few weeks ago because they were super tempting but I adverted my attention with some super bomb rice and salad.

Sorry Ricky, I was posting that while you were posting yours that was a response to Nissan_Luver08

My mom and grandma go to Mothers Market all the time, I still haven't been there but they want to take me desperately. My mom said they have vegan shrimp which I am dying to try because I was planning on breaking veganism for a night to have seafood again...

Anyways what I can/can't eat...

My favorite foods are spaghetti and pizza. The way I make my spaghetti is pretty simple, just a mushroom sauce and I add green and black olives with some veggies (if I feel like getting fancy), and a ton of spices (onion and garlic powder, cayenne pepper, pepper, oregano, lawrys season salt). My pizza I get with no cheese but with green peppers, olives, and mushrooms.

I eat In N Out A LOT. I get two veggie burgers (just a burger w/out meat) with grilled onion, pickles, and ketchup instead of spread (their buns are vegan, it was verified by the manager of the Fullerton location and by her sister who works higher up) and two fries. I got in real good with the Fullerton In N Out so most of them know my order now Any other questions just ask, kind of hard to write out ALL the foods I can eat

Can't have anything with animal products: milk, eggs, gelatin, whey, fish, chicken, red dye 40 (which I hear is no longer animal derived) honey, ranch, cheese and the obvious steak, hamburgers, hot dogs, leather, and the list goes on.

Veganism: The way I perceive it is to not support the exploitation of animals as products. I don't believe we NEED animals to survive, I think of it as we have taken a delicacy and made it into an everyday habit. If we still catered animal flesh to be a delicacy and used for special occasions then I would be all for eating meat, but when you can cruise a block from your house and grab a double cheeseburger from Mc Donalds for less than a buck, I think it's gone too far.

Sorry for the long post

Rob, I repsect your decision to be a vegan, you must have allot of dedication to your beleifs, obviously but man, I could not imagine having a nice juicy steak once in awhile, or honey??? I mean, that is natural right? O...it comes from a bee, is that why? I love Honey on my Cheerios or shredded wheat. Wow, you must be a strong man, have you always been a vegan, I mean raised that way? Or did that come later in life? I mean, for me, it has never been a real thought to be a vegan, or a vegetarian. I know, it would be a healthier lifestyle. I was raised in a beef eating house hold, no pork or lard products, no lobsters or shrimp, crab, nothing like that, and no caffenated sodas. Just chicken, Turkey, lamb and Beef and fish with gills.

NO Dude. Stay strong and try those Vegan shrimp. Thanks for the info. I always wondered. Much Respect to you and your beliefs bro.

I hope I can take my car for this GTG. My car is still at SFR and I'm waiting for it to get done. Some parts Tim ordered have not got in . It's been about 1 1/2 months or a little more I forget.

Yes honey comes from bees, it's not too big of a deal but I don't like the whole gathering process of it. I wasn't raised with any sort of vegetarianism either (Mexican background). I turned vegetarian soon after I met my ex girlfriend (the one that usually comes to the meets(, she had turned vegetarian soon before our first encounter and was talking about it. After some thinking I figured vegetarianism was very positive, not only am I helping an abundance of other beings, but if done properly was benefiting myself as well. After about a year I felt very hypocritical "helping animals" but still eating them, so I looked into veganism and gave it a shot (that was in July of 07).

I am not completely vegan for the record. We (my friends and I) have discussed this many times but it is IMPOSSIBLE to be completely vegan, I do what is comfortable to me. If I eat a piece of bread and it has whey in it, I will sometimes let it go if I'm hungry and don't have anything else. I am lenient at times but try to keep myself within limits. Back to the impossible thing, Brushing your teeth, taking a shower, driving, harvesting plants, breathing, and even decomposing is directly imposing on the death of some type of being. So I just set my own limits on it

lol That's funny. My cousins wife, who is white, was a Vegetarian before they were together and now that she is married to him, he is Mexican, she is not a 'vegtabletarian' anymore

I think they are only waiting on your transmission. I stopped by this weekend to get some stuff in line for my sedan, and some other future plans. BTW, your car is looking sick as hell!
