Morning Guys!

So i have been having the detonation problem for a while now.(I made a thread about this before)I decided to have a look if i could learn something,by doing some diagnostics.

The ECU came back with a code 34.Now according to the manual, this is the knock/detonation sensor.

I steered my lead light next to the block, but couldn't really make out if i have one at all.

Does anyone have some photos of it?I saw the writeup for the KA24 engines..

Thanks for reading!

Karis

ha nice diagnosing.

the knock sensor is threaded into the block under the intake manifold, about halfway back from the front.

The det (knock) sensor is on the pass. side, under the intake mani, in between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. It's also green in color.
