you should first check the alignment of the car.

alignment has nothing to do with rough ride. If it is 2006 shocks probably good springs can help but most truck springs are as soft as you can get from the factory. TIRES... what brand and model do you have? good quality tires are easiest way to smooth out the ride on a truck. Trucks have stiff suspension but tires can make it better. Also you may find softer springs but I would not count on it.

It is a truck -- the ride is only going to be so smooth.

I would agree that springs and tires are about the only thing that you could change.

Actually, you could change shocks even though they are okay, shocks can affect your ride quality. Though I don't know of any designed to give a smoother ride, as most truck shocks are designed for offroading or the like.

I may look into some springs maybe. But for the tires, I just replaced them a few months ago w/ the same kinds that came on it from the factory. BFG Radial Long Trails.

Any specific brand of springs? I don't know much about companies that make parts for trucks.

search web for nissan truck springs and start doing a lot of investigating. email or call the main spring companies like eibach and ohlins shock guys maybe those guys can steer you if they do not have anything to fit. google can help a lot when looking into new stuff. may take some leg work but any major supplier like summit jegs and nismo can be real helpful even when they do not have the stuff you want they can many times put you in touch with those that do.
