i painted them... the reverse lights at night are pretty much the coolest thing ever haha the nightshades turned them purple

yeah mine turned pretty purple too hahahahabut wtvr its alright.im still getting the overlays and maybe sanding the paint off os acetone..or somethin.

Why are you switching to the overlays?

the paintjob starting to look a bit faded/cloudy...even if i DID put a clearcoat on it. at first it was amazing. all glossy and stuff, but now...i'd like a real nice look on it..so overlays ftw

So I also ordered a pair of full overlays but they are a pain to install. I actually took them to a pro who said he could knock them out in a hour, and a hour and a half later he just gave up. Apparently the curve that meets the corner of the tail light is impossible to mold.

In the end, he used the remaining one to do my reverse and turn signals on both sides.

(P.S. I wanna give the full overlays another try, just need to relax a bit on all my car mods.)

Mine look as polished and new now as they did a good year ago and twenty plus thousand miles later.
