wsupz people,

it was snowing here in nyc yesterday, later that day in the afternoon my friend and i was going to the gym. As we were turning into a street looking for parking i notice the street was full of snow and some guy freakin double parked near the corner of that street. So i have to get in between the double park car and the regular parked car on the right side of the street to get thru, then all of a sudden my car just start slipping and i couldnt catch it and smacked my car against the parked car. The parked car have no dent and no scratch or anything, it was PERFECT! but my 240..=( it cracked off the paint on the right side fender up to the point that we can see the metal part. Damn man i cant' believe it! i was going probably like 5 mph or so.

So i got 1 question right now, can i buy a new fender, take off all the paint, and spray paint, clear coat it myself? Becuase my car's color is rare,it's sorta like really light blue almost near silverish, i only seen 3 240s in nyc that is the same as my color.

i posted up a pic, don't know will it show.

Any ways ppl, drive SAFE!

that's good...as long as you're gonna be another fender..but another hood...if you 'just spray it yourself'..then it won't even look as good as a cheap maaco job...if the scratches on your fender aren't bad then just strip yours and repaint it....and for godsakes get rid of that scoop

uh, my fender's isn't really in good shape, it's cracked so deep that it reaches the metal. It's also bumped in too, it concaved.

how can i get ride of the scoop? it's molded into the hood i think.but then when u look at it another angel it doesn't look bad at all. But i still wanna get rid of it anyway because it imply my sight when i drive.

anyways how much is a macco paint job cost with this rare color. does color affect the cost?

Like what?? Cant see over something like that? I'm 5'3 so take in to consideration I probably wouldnt. No everyone in Putnam nearly owns a d@mn honda. I swear you look everywhere and someone has one. That and probes, nothing wrong with that but geez...oh I cant forget KIA place. Alot of those too. My aunt told me to go get a KIA I said no thanks, then ask her dont those cars tear up fast or something b/c she's owned like 3 or 4 of them and she gave me this look and said no more what she thought I should get. lol

as i said it b4 already, it came wif the car wheni got it.

Is not like i dont' want to get rid of it, it implies my vision when i drive man.Sitting in front of the damn computer and just say "get rid of it" is easy, but is not as easy as that man.

If i want to get rid of it i have to find a new hood and replace it and then i have to repaint the hood or something to match the color of my car. My car's color aint black, red,or white is a light blueish color so that's even harder to just to find a hood and replace it.
