To Dan: the angels eyes are connected to an inverter box that comes with the angel eyes, then those wires are connected to the parking lights, hopefully i can find them and do a quick splicing to power them.

So guys, here's another update, i finally got the right connection and wires for the wiring harness, so now its a true plug and play.

I also ordered another headlight so i will get started on that once i find like a 12v battery that u can charge up at home so i dont have to go out buying a new car battery....dont ask me why i just want to do it this way lol.

So here is a quick update. Finished soldering on the rest of the connections to the harness and here is the other headlight. Chance to view stock and the retrofit, enjoy.

so this is the harness that i ordered. Had to replace the H7 plug with the H11 plug, and also attached the two ballast onto it as well, which will power the bulbs.

Here is the two headlights, where one is bone stock and the other is my retrofit. If you think it seems smaller compared to the stock headlight, it isnt, because the housing in the retrofit is black, so like people say "black makes you look slimmer" in which this is true.

so there you go guys, i hope to have these projectors done by november just before the northeastern meet?...update more once i get started, and i will do a proper write up once i finish the project, til then enjoy

How are you going to adjust the pattern - Am I mistaken or did you cut out all of that from the back of the stock headlights?

Side view, Wondering if either brandon, dangries or whom ever can shed some light on if this is how it's suppose to look like? not to sure but again nothing is set.

Another angle of what I'm talking about. Is this how far is should still out?
Did you figure this one out yet?

To Vital:

Yes i did figure out and solved it. What suppose to happen is that only the bulb holder of the ballast should be sticking out,not the projector itself, so in order to solve this dilema, i will be using two black balloons, that will be wrapped around the rubber circle of the housing and so the only thing that will be protruding is the bulb holder of the ballasts.

Edit:Here is a picture of what i mean, this was done by someone else on a scion, but this is the basic idea of what i will also be doing

The rubber ring with two black balloons

Then the balloons are stretched over the rubber circle

And this is how it should look like when placed back onto the back housing and sealed.

To mrodrig2:

What do you mean by pattern? if you mean the cutoff line and making sure i dont blind people...well i think i found the solution which would be to mark up the original headlights about 25ft away onto a wall, tape it and mark where the car was at, then install the new set of lights, and adjust it with the green knob on the housing itself which will level the lights either up or down.

So hopefully this solution will work, otherwise i just royally screwed myself over lol, if not i dont mind blinding people. I've notice that lately EVERYONE is driving with their high beams on anyway, so time for payback and unintended causalities as well lol.

To BLKmomba1:

The screen saver is actually my background for my laptop. its not the coupe but the sedan in which i photoshopped it from a grey to white car with the AIT kit for the sedan. The picture originally belonged to NIssan4life( if i remember correctly) which i photoshopped. so here is the original picture then the photoshopped one which i hope to one day make a reality.

There are no special concerns for how far the lights stick out of the back. It doesn't matter as long as there is clearance for the projector to clear the lens in the front and the wiring to clear anything else behind it.

Ok so what do u mean by pattern? i dont know all the lingo regarding with retrofits and what not, but i just hope that i did everything right and it all works and light up.

Currently working on the second headlight at the moment, and writing a write up as well which will be posted later in a different thread. i'll try to take pictures at every step to make it as easy as possible, but i am doign this by myself. Hoping to get the projector fitted in the reflector bowl by end of the day.

Yes I am referring to aiming the headlights so you don't blind other people. Judging by your answer I guess the adjustment screws still work and there's enough room to move.

when you do a write up ( Im sure you will) can you put detailed instructions on how to open the light and what tools. I tried to open them up but the back part of the housing got so f***ed up that it wouldnt go back together right

lol, i will definielty be doing a write up, im just waiting for one more item to come in, and hopefully either by this weekend or next weekend, all will be up and running and shining.

As for opening the headlights, and what tools i used, it was just 2 long flat head screw drivers, baking the headlights, and just taking my time. so i'll have the nice detailed write up as soon as possible and i can FINALLY have this done and up and shining.

how much did this project cost u, just the accesories like the projecters ect. and how much did u get the spare headlights for. i also read on the group buy that brian used the e55 mercedes for the bi exenon, and the e46 bmw projectors for the low beam, wat is the difference to the ones that u r using, if their even is a difference. or u just got the ones that u thought might fit best?

overall the project cost me an arm and leg lol, but if you want the numbers i say between 500-600 because i used quality stuff. as for teh spare headlgihts, i got each one for about 40 shipped, of course a few tabs where broken, but nothing that cant be fixed easily.

as for the difference between the projectors i have absolutely no clue. I got the tsx, because their easier to mount due to its 4-5 mounting holes and also their second best out there compared to the s2000 from what i have read.

Project is almost done, just waiting for a few more items to come in the mail and i'll be all set to put everything back together.

That's freaking hotness!!! what color leds did you go with? Also which exact strip did you pick? Reason i'm asking is cuz i'd rather pay more $$$ for one that will never burn out then bake my headlights over and over again everytime led goes out.

Do you have any pics of it at work? Would like to see what it'll look like in our housing/reflector.

Hey Dragon...Sorry I haven't seen this thread but your lights look great so far. As for the LED strip, is the the Oznium side emitting strip? if so, I thought they were already black thus not having to tape up the strip as you did. As for aiming, what have you've done so far to do this. Please tell me you aimed them before you closed the light up. I actually took stock halogen and HID headlights and made a jig on my pool table and shot the beam to the wall and marked off the cut offs with blue painter's tape. I did this for both low and high beams that way I have a reference point for future lights that I may be doing. Let me know if you need any help/guidance.

Hey, dangeris

No their not from ozium, i got it off a different site, ijdmtoy.com. And it only came in that color, so therefore i had to tape it up and such.

Nothing is sealed at all since i'm still waiting for the extra set to come in so i can fix the problem.

As for aiming, havent done that just yet haha. I am gonna follow your advice that you've emailed me before, and i'll do that with the stock headlights once i start to put everything together. The only thing i got for aiming would be that green little knob on the back of the housing. So hopefully all goes well.

I really want this done already, been at this for too long . But with work and school, its taking up to much time for me to be able to do anything, since midterms and what not are coming up.

So i hope to have this done before the big meet ^_^.

I hear ya Buddy,..I was doing toxik's lights in between work, family and building a garage so I know all about not having time Just take your time and don't rush through it and you'll be satisfied with the results. If you need any questions answered shoot me an email or call me on my cell.

As for aiming, the adjustment screw should work but only to a point. If the projectors were mounted very close to the OEM spec then it should work. If not, the adjustment screw won't work no matter how much you adjust it.
