i have a slight miss or studder up top towards 6-8k rpm, its not studdering the whole car, but seems like it looses power and you can hear it start to miss, but not horribly, just enough for me to stop and let out out of it.

ran fine for a few days, then i checked/adjusted timing, and adjusted idle, after that, it started this.

i changed/gapped plugs, no help, now im thinking maybe when i timed it it messed coil #1. since you have to shove a plug wire into it, maybe i pushed the spring in the coil up to high and its stuck there? but i think it would miss down low as well if that were the case. that is literally the only thing that had changed between running right, and studering.

then it came to mind today, hey i still have a stock FPR( FML) i completly looked over this factor while building, and forgot about it, stupid me. but i dont see why it woul start all of a sudden, maybe 28psi threw the fpr vac line messed up the fpr? but the car runs very rich.

and help would be great. thanks.

also, i wanna add, that if i do not give it full throttle but still has close to max boost, it will not break up at all.

First off, 39 stamps??

Second, i think your MAFS might be dirty and fuel cutting. Try a different MAFS and see if the problem is still present.

Also, get an aftermarket FPR, they are pretty cheap. And if you have a high flow fuel pump it will overrun your FPR.

P.S if you are running a stock fuel pump, it might not be able to keep up with the amount of fuel your engine drinks per second, and thus the studder at higher RPMs.

ill check the maf, but the z32 was perfect when installed.

It has a 255lph walbro, and stock fpr, which will be no longer soon.

any other suggestions?

so i was pondering at my safc today, and decided to click on the air flow gauge, then i decided to see what it did, when the car started breaking up,

(btw i have no idea what these following numbers mean)

at full throttle the gauge read "4" even in boost, then once it started breaking up, the needle jumped around 4 and bounced over it as fast as you can wave your finger in front of your face.

it stayed solid at 4 until it broke up. any ideas?
