And CLR will work decent. You should go buy a brush too to scrub the block.

also make sure you ditch those factory hose clamps...they are the big suck! haha

I love my hammer shift knob, found out why it was so much to ship when I got it. Heavy beast! I could never get mine to tighten all the way down though without it pointing at the same weird angle towards the pass door speaker. Didn't matter what I tried, had to use blue thread locker to get where I wanted it

Jordan takes his time doing this stuff, be he surely, has EVERYTHING he needs to get this BEAST going. His T25 with bolt on's tore some stuff up(with me driving of course , I can't even imagine what this 50 trim will do..

EDIT: He can drift MUCH better than me

Not really it was kinda simplesince i still had room in the engine bay to get in their and take the head off. just whenever i was taking the stock Head bolts out it was kind of a bit*h on my back but then i climb in their and got the job done. lol oh yeah the only hard part was trying to hold the head and get out of the engine bay at the same time. So i had to hand it to my friend then get out of the engine bay, then put it on a piece of wood on top of 2 cinder blocks lol.

Now idaho i wanted to ask what did you say you did to get the old headgaskit material off the head and block? I remember you said you used sand paper oh and do you have any before and after pics of when you did it? can you explain to me what all you did to get that gaskit material off.

idk if it would be ok to use sand paper i mean it would definatly take it off no doubt but would the head gaskit leak or not be sealed right after its all back on or what or is that wher the copper spray-a-Gaskit comes in to play?

yea use a credit card. and 180 grit. that is what i did. just be-careful around the holes. my head gasket stuck to my head when i took it off but when i have the head ran through a pressure washer it came off all nice.

in my build thread on page 3 i think. i have pics of the block when i first took the head off and then i have some of right be for i put it back on.

just dont push hard when you are sanding. pretty much just rest your hand on it.

the copper spray a gasket will fill in any imperfections. so yea that is where it comes into play

oh ok i see what your saying i use gift cards from wallmart lol but should i really use 180 grit or a fine grit. Ok on page 3 when it shows your head all really super clean is that after it was cleaned and when you sanded it with 180 and you did that the same way to the block?

after i pulled my head off my hstock head gaskit came off in one whole peice.

yes i have sortedmy rocker arms, shims. I marked everything and put them in baggies lableing what goes where exacly.

Now do i need to take my brand new Brian crower retainers and valve springs and old valve seal out for them to pressure tank and deck it, or can i leave it in their. Since i alrready installled those a long time ago in this build and the machine shop dont need to put any new valvetrain parts in.

This is what my head looks like nowremember to remove your rocker arm shims when you get it pressure tanks lol.

no you don't have to take the springs and valves out. they should be fine.

i just did everything at once. you might not even half to deck the head. mine was perfectly straight.
