I have a 90 240sx coupe and I was thinking about using slick 50 in my engine because Im sure it probably needs to be cleaned out... because it's got 225k miles on it... just wanting to know is this stuff as good as it says it is and will it fix lifters being stuck or making noise? thanks..

Slick 50 and ProLong do nothing good for an engine. You're better off doing an engine flush before your next oil change.

If she has been good to you and is mechanically sound, a good flush may help.My engine was re-built a couple of years ago but even before that, I flush my engine twice every year. Usually April and October. And I do so at the beginning of the month and at the end. (4 flushes total) I also religously change my oil every 2 months regardless of mileage.

Can you explain to me what an RS engine is? I've only heard of the RB series Nissan motor.
