Surprisingly, if you go in there, most of the doors are unlocked so you guys can run in there and sit in them for a few minutes before being kicked out haha.

Seriously I just got a little teary eyed. Just to have a few parts off of them before they get crushed. All that work... and pride. Dam government. I want to the guy that imported these illegally. I hope he get them back or gives them to NICO. any one of those would make one hell of a time attack car!

If you can part them out I get dibs on a pair of r34 seats!

Well, the owner of these cars has truly screwed up, but trust me when I say, there is no way he will just let these cars go to waste, specially since he paid for the cars and the FOB charges, there is no way in hell he is just going to walk away.Also, its not like he has imported drugs from colombia, these are just cars no matter how you put it, or customs puts it, but yes, he did commit the mistake of shiping these cars into the US through california LOL!!

All he really needs is a good amount of money, a good attorney, and a real good F*cken reason...

white s15 with supermade is soo clean, i couldnt work at a place like that i would get nothing done all day and prob cry if they went to be crushed.

everyone has a price, tell your boss you will give him a $1000, cash, to let you in the storage unit for a weekend with a few buddies and a truck. tell him the cars will still look normal and roll on and off tow trucks when youre done. the importer can have the cars back, minus a few "parts".

I'd love to buy a few little knick knacks from those cars.

stuff that you wouldn't even know was gone.

S15 has a few little braces that come stock that are really cool.

anyways, looks like they brought them over here with the motors still installed.

stupid idea, that makes it a whole car.

should have taken the engines out.

oh well, too bad.

that GTR nur is NICE too.

Some of you (since it is a 240sx/s13/s14 forum it is no surprise) may not know that ppl attempt to bring in illegal vehicles all the time. Unfortunately, ever since the Motorex scandal, the skyline's are on teh Gov't red flag list. They say it is to protect us, and other drivers because certain parts of the vehicles have not met the FMVSS and the NHTSA standards and regulations. Anyway, those vehicles, and many other overseas vehicles, get crushed all the time. It is cheaper for the gov't to have some giant crushing machine cube those badboys than to pay to ship them back to Japan, Europe, Australia, or wherever else they came from. I feel just as bad as you guys about it. but them's the breaks I guess.

Are you aware of some of the VERY interesting parts on those cars?

They are not simple GTR34s....

V cam setup... Mines parts..... there is some expensive stuff.

I'd like to "visit" these badboys.

did you tow the GTR like that?2 wheels up and 2 down?

Not the first nor the last time this will ever happen. I know of another group of cars in Atlanta that was seized , and I have heard of others in Florida.

Don't play with the government. Don't play with the DOT , EPA, and customs.

People think they can get one over, but sooner or later they get burned.

What has to happen with these cars will be export or destroyed. That will be the option.

You can't take parts off them, you can't play around with them.

If they are missing keys, and they are R34's , they have immobilizer and won't start. I have the program to recalibrate the ECU to key , but I am sure that a locksmith will not.

They will come up at auction sooner or later.

Do you know the timeline they have to pay the export fees before the vehicles are scrapped? I imagine it isnt very long is it? I know here in BC, if you ship a vehicle over, the ports will usually hold it for 5 days and than charge a usually ridiculously high storage rate.
