The free trial of our car expires soon and we're wondering if it is worth to renew the subscription.

In my opinion it is not worth it. My Pandora and I-Heart radios works much better and it's kind of free.

Agree, but only if you have unlimited data plans.

I'm using XM for almost 10 years (started when those were 2 different companies) and I can say it's not worth it for the price they offer. I usually give them a call...pay about $60 for the whole year and after that I call them again that I'm ready to discontinue the service and they always dropping the price. I wish they would play di.fm

It's probably only worth it if you can get retention offers that lower the price of it. I'd pay for it if they had CD quality sound but a lot of times, it sounds worse than plain FM radio at the high ranges due to heavy compression artifacts.

I'd consider staying with them for a discounted rate, since I like listening to BPM. But at the regular price, I'll go back to FM radio or Pandora. It's too bad Nissan didn't get their act together in time to put HD Radio into this car.

I think its worth it, I find the quality better then when I had a seperate unit installed for my previous car, Its a nice selection as well you dont always hear the same stuff on regular radio.
I do agree if you get the discount price its worth it..I ended up gettin a year for 99.99

I think its worth it, but I live in northern Canada and we don't always have access to cell signal so phone apps don't always work for us. We also don't have a huge selection of AM/FM channels to pick from. I love having access to BBC World News and NHL games.
We drive long distances and it's always available. Makes the trip enjoyable.

For the sports fan, it can be a good deal, if your into listening to your favorite sport.

For those which use Pandora I have a question before installing it. Like XM are there themetic chanels such as the 80s, 90s, hip hop etc or can you only create your own playlists. thanks
