im working on an 85 turbo z31 with ECVSA. adjustable suspension. so now my rear shock mounts look like this.

i have new non adjustable shocks with including hardware on right. and two pecies from the conversion kit and a new shock mount bushing on the left.

my predicament is that this center plate with the insulator bushing on it is far gone. this one below.

i tried to just find the bushing i need for the middle plate. but to no avail, hence i have that other bushing that i believe may just be a wrong part for non adjustable?

help me please.thanks.

ive looked for the shock mount insulator(middle plate with destroyed rubber bushing) but i cannot find this one anywhere.

has anyone looked into options for this that i cannot seem to find?

i read somewhere that somebody swapped out for the non adjustable mounting setup.

would this be my best bet? not that i can find that either...

thank you.

Otherwise, have you looked in the factory service manuals yet?

my friend the car owner finally found the plate with bushing from a dealer locally. should be here friday. woot woot!

i had seen that link a few times already, had it bookmarked and all. but you are correct in it being one of the more helpful links i had come across.

thanks again.

just got the new insulator in today. looking good.

everything in order to install.

looking like we might have some promise with this one.

BUT!! once the bump stop is brought into the picture. i am left thread-less. it just does not slide down enough along the shock. too thick i guess.

so i figure ill go get some universal bump stops at pep boys or something? anyone have any better suggestions?
