So I'll just start by saying I screwed up and was lazy, when I pulled the engine, instead of taping everything off and labeling it i just took pictures, which I've learned was a bad idea because that phone was obliterated and i lost all the pics :( my engine is basically done all I have left is hooking up all the vacuum/coolant lines on the plenum, and in trying to find pics to get all the hoses right I came across the coolant bypass thing, I'm interested in doing it, but my question is, on all the different writes ups of people doing this, it was always on an na engine, and i cant find anyone who did it on a twin turbo. Is this something I should avoid doing to a twin turbo? Especially if in the future it's going to be pushing 600+? I don't want to hinder my car, but it would be nice to get rid of all that tubing.. And of so is there a wrote up of someone doing it on a twin turbo car? Cuz i know i have those turbo coolant lines to deal with.

Can't wait to show off my engine when it's done!! When I get pics up, it's a pretty unique engine..

K you need to cool the f*** down buddy, quit being such an a** hole, the past 3 questions I've asked on here you've called me an idiot for not searching, then proceed to answer a question I wasnt asking.. No where on here did I say I cant find a vacuum diagram, ill will admit, honestly the whole thing of me saying I lost my pics, none of that was necessary and i could have done with out mentioning it..

The question I was asking was is it safe to do the coolant bypass on a turbo engine? Because all the threads where people did the bypass, those were all on n/a engines, and i know there's a few extra coolant lines on mine.. But whatever, ill just put it back together how nissan did, thanks for the help

First off sorry fpr the d!ck remark but this has been covered on many topics....All I'm saying is simply search man.

OK simply put it's safe and nearly everyone on this site has it done, if they've ever done a plenum pull. The only risk it presents you with is the thottle body butterfly freezing up. Which is very unlikely unless you live somewhere cold.

And I understand the pics getting lost I typically post all my pics as I take them or try to upload them to photobucket to avoid that ever happening. Also works as proof of the work you've done to your car. Anyone can fab up receipts.
