Hi all,

Finally managed to subscribe here. I have imported this 2001 Nissan President from Japan, but I am still busy importing it.

That is because it needs rear fog lights and the headlights need a different beam pattern.

This is how I solved the rear fog lights:

Yep! We need to have them here.

I added this button for them:

Just picked this 03 with $110K mile yesterday. The lady was too old to drive (she owned it for 7 yrs and put on like 17K miles)
It's a black to black. I also have a 03 LS430 with 151K mile. I have to say the Q45 has stronger engine around 3500-4000 RPM. FAST. Build quality and luxury still go to the Lexus though.

My 1992 Infiniti q45 102,000 miles very clean interior no wears or tears on the beige leather seats and engine is very clean, very few rusts spots in the engine bay, but still runs smooth, currently just added tinted windows, tinted taillights and headlights, LED headlights, New Wheels and tires, new exhaust system that runs from the muffler to the engine bay, and changed every fluid as well as new brakes all around. Love the ride.. I’m 17 and was given the car by my uncle, he had it sitting in his garage for a while now. I don’t look to sell the car, rather keep it since it’s just a unique and rare car and I want to many performance mods, but every time I search up parts for my car, none show up.. Do you guys recommend a website or what I should do for performance mods..

A stealth-looking Q45. Like it! What did you use to tint the taillights? Also, what tires are you running? I heard good things about the bf goodrich tires though I'm still undecided.

My '94 JDM Q45. Super clean, with only 79,000 km on it when I got it. Now up to 83,000 and plenty more to go.

Had it shipped about 1700 miles, so it was pretty dirty

Bought it knowing it had a misfire, so got it pretty cheap. 130k on it but the body is in pretty good shape, only a couple small door dents. It looks like it was maintained at some point (hoses are in decent shape, along with a few newer looking parts) and then sat due to the misfire. I've already got the parts to fix the misfire (its a bad injector), but just waiting on some extra parts since i'll have the plenum off.

Long term plans are:

Weld up my own 3" dual exhaust out of stainless
Manual swap (ideally using the 5 speed, but just largely depends on transmission availability/price)
coilovers (not going to VIP/slam it, just want to get it out of 4x4 mode
turbocharger (or supercharge)
Stand alone (thinking haltech for now, and the haltech guys seem to be pretty familiar with the VH/VK engines)
