..with that being said, the guy that i got my tint done from (very professional place in New Castle, DE called Angel's Tint.. look him up) said that he has tried to tint lights out before and with the curved lens, its very difficult to get the tint perfect. he said the ones he did turned out really well but after a few weeks, the tint started to peel where the curves were. and he brought up a good point that if you get pulled over for it, you would have to take the tint off and get it re-inspected. After you take the tint off, its hard to get the film under the tint to come completely off. youd be better off going with a cover that you can easily remove if you have to, but looks like your lights are tinted.
whatever you decide to do, good luck. sounds like a fun project. post pictures
What kind of weird crap was he using? I won't say that installing the tint was easy, but after you get a hang of it and realize that a blow dryer is your friend, everything else is easy.
Mine have been on for a month or so now and no peeling.
