Greetings all. I have a new 2006 G35 Sedan that is black and am considering the clear coat bra. (Never has a black car before and am a bit worried about chips in the paint showing up too much) Any feedback on that would be helpful in making the decision.

Also, coming form a former BMW driver, the accelerator peddle is WAY to small. It's quaint... fitting only in the ball of my foot really. I'm looking for a foot size peddle (yes.. such as the BMW uses). Any pointers in that area would be helpful.

I LOVE this car and cannot wait to get past the break in so I can unleash the fury!

Get the front bumper covered!! Mine seems to attract huge rocks. I personally don't like the look of the hood clear-bra.

I say +1 for the clear bra...especially with a black car.

You can hardly see it and it will save your beauty paint job looking nice alot longer!

Welcome to NICO!!

Clear bra all the way. Fabric bra's for your car will rub against the paint, causing it to fade over time. Also, the way some of them attach to the car with clips, they will actually chip the paint more where they attach, then prevent from happening else where.

I noticed that you're in Martinez, CA. I'm a close neighbor of yours living in Hercules. Anyway, getting back to business. I just had the clear bra installed on my car and went through one hellish experience. Trust me, when you decide on getting it, there's only one place I would go to to getit installed. I had to learn the hard way. There are many people out there that install this stuff, but they do a lousy job! Air bubbles, stretch marks, orange peel effect, razor cut damage to your car, etc. You get the picture. I had all of the above done to my car and had to go to hell and back before I was able to get my money back and get a new bumper (still waiting for it to arrive) installed. Yes, the clear bra installer damaged my car! Deep gouges, scratches, dents, etc.

Now the good news. I've done all the research for you. So if you decide on getting it installed, and you definitely should on a black car (I own 3 of them) there's only one place you should go to. Lucky for you, you live in the Bay Area, which is home of one of the best installers around. People travel thousands of miles to get it done by them.

You won't be disappointed.Tell 'em Andy (the guy who had a really botched and damaged clear bra install on his 07 G35 sedan) sent you.
