hey guys, i have a 240sx that is my daily driver, i want to take it to a few events this summer/fall , i wanted your opinions on whether i should wait and save up my money for another 240 to drift or should i drift my daily. i understand if i crash im screwed but as far as general maintainence(besides tires) what is a part that breaks alot when drifting, if there is any part like that..

Isn't the suspension and tires different for drifting and street driving?

I don't think its a good idea but the only track my car has seen is the QTR mile.

yes drift it but save for another car as a daily ,i drift mine but atm im saving for a daily .

if you can afford buying set of tires. I don't see why not.

it sucks dding a drift car, its so harsh and clunky and junk but you can do it, build you suspension up and keep that ka, get good in it, and when you are, put some crazy engine in it and do you aesthetic s*** and weight reduction, cage, and then find another dd'er

I plan to do little things on my 240. I will find another car for daily thank god.

yep, for me the day i admited it was bad went like this

you know when you have a harsh ride when....your driving girls around town and they complain that your car is making there boobs hurt

loll hahah no wonder girls love me I because I don't radio in my car, and I have much dents marks on my car from drifting lol.

I'll plan getting new TSX for daily!

hahaha...yeah i plan on picking up a old subaru legacy for daily.

you will be fine as long as you stay away from walls. lol

and fire hydrant and poles and trees and ditches and curbs and bushes and houses and cars and people and animals etc...hahaha this is the way i see it

you have a spot that you drift at...and each spot has its own level of experience required to execute and limits to what can be executed. so as long as your at the correct spot for your skill keeping your drifting inside your level of skill you will be ok...only when you go out of your level will you hit something

whichhhh is what i did...fail...

its better to go to the track a few times to get comfortable and then you will have more confidence on the street

plus tracks have none of hte things i listed firstly lol
