Hey, I just bought a new (well used) turbo and just would like to know is it worth putting on a ca or should I sell it an get one from a s14 or s15. Its a GT2860R from a r34 skyline with a A/R 42 turbine inlet is .48. I was reading some where that it would ruin the value of the turbo but i dont know what that means.

Thanks

Man that thing looks really small. No way is it a 2860R. That turbo has the same hot side as the CA turbo, and a smaller compressor, so it seems.

yeah I notice that also but it does have a different turbine housing the five bolt pattern is a little diffenernt then any t25 or t28 I've seen. It matches the one from a RB26dett and the inlet flange has four threaded bolts coming out of it instead of traditional through holes

I debated using a RB25 t28 for a while. the thing was just not enough power for the work invovled in getting it to even work. the T3 flange was a real ***** too....

Yeah, or a GT28R or 2871R or whatever you think would be the right turbo for you. Do a little research and find the one that you think fits you best.
