I have a '99 Pathfinder. I'm trying to run a short ram air kit, but I'm not sure how to get accurate measurements for the tubing. I'm ordering a K&N Filter, but I wanted to see if anyone has ever made a kit from scratch. Do I need to keep the resevoir that's under the original tube?

Thanks

i'm going to try out the cheap short ram for a 240sx DOHC i ordered from ebay, i'm sure u can find something cheap on ebay that u might be able to fit on the pathfinder with little fabrication, as far as the resevoir under the original tube, if i guessed right then u are talking about the intake resinator for the intake, dont ask me y they have it but that resevoir has nothing but air that is cool by the air that's blowing in from the front since it sits right behind the radiator, so i guess it is there to provide u with a little bit of cooled air (not enough) so u can spend a little more time making a adapter for it or not, its not important
