Hey everyone sorry for all the questions. Like ive said before ive had my car for a lil over a year so i hae some questions. In the bottom right corner of the council where the shift knob is theres a little thing that says shift lock. Im guessing this locks the shifter. Am i right. In what case would you use that function?

The shift lock button is used in case, say, your battery dies or the car doesn't have any power, if the car has to be towed, the little cover pops off so that you can put the car in neutral for towing. Hope this helps.

It also allows a repo man to take your car without the key. I have a buddy who does repos for a living and he said cars without this feature make his job much harder that it already is.
