service engine soon
i have had my 06 altima 2.5 special edition for a week and the engine light came on. took it to auto zone and computer says its emissionsleak(large) any ideas as to what the problem is? i have only ran one half tank of gas through it, gas cap is on tight

could also be a vacuum leak.

It's probably the gas cap...or a loose hose.
Run the car normally for about a week and see if the light is still on. If it is, take it to a mechanic to have them check it over,

my wife drove the car about 15 miles the next day , and the light went off . it hasnt came back on(knock on wood) we drove the car to the beach this week-end, about 4 hundred miles round trip, every thing was fine. it got 34.6 miles per gallon.
