much respect for ya man. I know how hard it is to get into a medschool and STAY there afterwards. MUCH MUCH respectheliochrome85 wrote:yes some schools are easy to get into. My school is pretty difficult, in part because it has higher standards than most osteopathic schools and some allopathic US schools. The average MCAT in my class is a 28. The school has an average Step I pass rate of 92%. Plus, I rotate in the US, and will be licensed in all 50 states (one of 3 schools who are fully accredited). I would say the vast majority of my class mates came from states where the bar was set much much higher (Michigan, New York). Other than coming from oversaturated states, they have no reason why they shouldnt be in the US.
and yes, most arabs are fairly proud. We don't let the prevailing "Shut up you terrorlst" mentality in the US, work.
dude, you have your degrees posted online... I have never seen this on a car forum, and frankly, I find it hilarious... that is why I'm giving you $hit... it just looks like you're bragging and its unnecessary...heliochrome85 wrote:i really dont understand your motives to attack me. you don't know me, nor have we ever run into each other before. but hey, if it lets you fall asleep faster at night to have won an arguement on the internet, then you've won. Yes, i am a retard who went to university of phoenix online, and got a degree in data entry. I am destined for a life of telephone banking and customer service. I'm so glad that you took the time out of your day to remind me of my lowly status.
I have worked very hard to get where I am. I am proud of my achievements, and look forward to my future. You go ahead and check the degrees of your doctors. The fact of the matter is when you are in the hospital, you are seen by a competent physician, who studied and passed very difficult licensing exams for the US, as well as board exams for their state. Whether they went to Harvard Medical, or the University of New Delhi, the standards are the same. But I can see where you might be scared. Wouldn't want the darkies to treat you...
remind me what is it that you do?
well, being that I'm black, I find that a funny statementheliochrome85 wrote: Wouldn't want the darkies to treat you...

Pretty tacky, even coming from you.rjdmmfl1 wrote:

Perhaps you meant "pedestal".rjdmmfl1 wrote:physicians are placed on too high of a pedal

What school was that again?
if its the 7000$ you talked about in the other thread well thats too much for me but if you can sponsor me or something lol, then we got a deal haha.peteyd wrote:well to try and steer this back on topic...i know you where you can get a deal on a turbo kit :P
Have you been to med school? The caliber or the students that manage to get in is well above what you would ever see in grad school, so perhaps that has something to do with the lower attrition rate that you are pointing out? I am an engineer, my GF is in medical school, and there is no way in hell that I could come close to keeping up and passing medical school. I also would not wish what they are put through on anyone.rjdmmfl1 wrote:really? you know? or you've heard? medical school has a very low attrition rate, unlike graduate school... I have much more respect for the rigors of training that engineers on this forum went through than I do for physicians...
medical school curriculum itself isn't difficult, its just fast paced, and that makes it difficult... the original thought and research required for a dissertation can be much more demanding...
if you're good at memorizing stuff and regurgitating it... become a physician... if you'd rather think outside of the box and actually use your brain to discover rather than regurgitate other people's discoveries, then become a scientist...
physicians are placed on too high of a pedal in regards to perceived intelligence in academia... place them high because they save lives, but not because you think they are somehow smarter than everyone else... (especially if they went to an osteopathic or carribean medical school)

I did went to the dealer to check out the g37 and well I really can't love that car. I tried but it's not that big of an upgrade from my altima. it's an upgrade but it looks the same (or the other way arround lol) and other than the RWD I just can't justify "upgrading" to it. it's a 4 seater instead of our 5 and its got less rear space than our car plus the rwd is a total no-no in our winter. yeah there is a g37x with AWD but it's only failmatic (7AT). Audi rs4 is much more attractive to me now than g37.
EDIT- pic too damn big, .

Good luck with that.Cold_Zero wrote:I think the words that you are looking for are, "sorry", "it wont happen again" and "I will stop responding in a defensive fashion.'"
somehow you think me being an a$$hole means I'm above apologizing... I'm not...Cold_Zero wrote:

true, but last i checked, even morons like myself manage to get licensed in the US. So either the system is flawed, or you are just out to knock me down a peg for no other reason than you are bored. I wonder which it could be.rjdmmfl1 wrote:oh yeah, and you're right 50% of doctors do graduate at the bottom of their class, but at schools like Harvard med, that means little to nothing...
lol... OK, well I don't take back the apology just because you think its hollow... I made some rather elitist comments and it was uncalled for...heliochrome85 wrote:

Your "apology" is hollow. I really couldn't care less about what you think about me, my sig, or my achievements. I have proven myself worth to the people who matter both in life and on this forum. If anything, you have only shown your own malice and arrogance. Quite the achievement if you ask me.
