sorry for bringin back old posts but i'm new...i gotta agree with the buffing. worked at a body shop for 3 years learned some stuff and i don't see this bein so..., interesting yes but effective... gues i'd have to check it out first but by the sound of it, if it has said 'beeds' of hardener, i'd think the quality/look wouldn't be too great, possibly loose depth. i'd also see it being softer theres' unactivated hardener in it, sounds like it's just a 'soft' clear that 'moves' with heat. sorry if an opinion wasn't due. but for s-n-g, anyone know where i can find out somethin in this?WizardBlack wrote:I am sure any Dupont bodyshop will have it before long. IMHO not a cost-effective use of your money. Buffing gets the job done for any light scratch that the "self healing" clear can take care of. Spend your money on a small purpose-built buffer, some wool and foam pads, good chemical and physical based buffing compounds as well as some polish and you can "heal" the car yourself.
