My 92 se hatch has rust under the spoiler i know it needs to come off any ideas about what to do when its off?

grind all the rust off, get some bondo and apply to the holes. after bondo dries, sand it down and spray paint it if you want.

bondo cracks under heatget the holes welded shut 1st then consider bondo

metal and bondo heat up @ different ratesthe sun will make ur bondo crack in the long run

weld holes up, doesnt have to be perfect cuz your going to want some excess to grind it down so it can be smooth.. then if there are any holes you some bondo works for me

sorry i am new haha but yeah i was thinking that maybe fiberglass would be better???
