i know this has been posting but i have been looking for the post and cant find it. i just installed my coil overs and cant go up my driveway with out scraping my front lip. im not sure if anyone remembers in one of the old post a member said they put carbon fiber strips on the bottom of the lip and let that scrape away. just want to know if anyone has tried it and if it really works. also was curious if u just glue it to the bottom on the lip.

thanks

raise your front up until it's not scratching your car anymore.

i already raised it half a inch from the original setting. dont want to raise it anymore just want to find away to protect the lip from getting scratched by putting something to protect it, just curious to know if theres anything out there thats why i asked about the carbon fiber strips.

What's the original setting? I have Eibachs and they're 1.5 front, 1 rear, I was thinking of doing the exact same drop for coilovers when I get them.

Is it a Stillen lip?

Made from polyurethane?

Don't worry about the bottom of it scraping if that's the case. The urethane won't crack or anything.

I've scratched off most of the paint from the bottom of my front end. Can't tell unless you take if off.

Honestly im not sure what the numbers are but i think its a little lower then eibach. But one thing i can tell you is if you planning to get coilovers get them they are worth it. i thought i would have a horrible drive with them being i live in new york but i find the ride quality to be better thean stock but that my opinion i have the front set on 5.

thanks lbc was looking for the driveway wedge on google then checked amazon then check ebay the only thing i found was them spreading asphalt by the driveway wedge but nothing about buying the actual wedge. I guess i'll look into it more.

you could move to a new house with a different drivey. that definitely seems like the easiest thing to do.

i tried side ways and bakwards... a bunch of my friends were laughing at me and told me i couldnt drive ( all their cars are lowered) i told them to try they got the same result it was to low to get up and the steep was to high it was scrapping no matter what. i had to raise it about 1/2 inch it still looks low thought since i have the lip on.
