Coming off the interstate on the exit ramp. We were stopped side by side at the traffic light. It was white and very tastefully done. He had a front bumper on it that gave it a GT-R look. Sounded great too. He revved on me. :chuckle: I think the F-Sport badges on my car confuse people. I just gave him a thumbs up and mouthed "nice car" and took my 204 hp on down the road.

GT-R look? Most G's I've seen with GT-R style kits really look crappy :(

This car was very tastefully done and you know how picky I am. :squint:

Damn it sounded good too. Gosh I miss the sound of my Camaro. :frown:

Aud...you are getting ugly again. You might have to go back to the Popeye with the blown off face avatar.

Got another nice email from the fella that bought my Camaro. He sure does love it. He bought Zaino for it and never drives it in the rain. I couldn't have found a nicer fella.

It's always nice when someone buys a car you loved and loves it back. I have no idea what happened to my Maxima that I traded in for the G sedan and I occasionally wonder.

I have quite a few people stating they want my coupe whenever I decide to get something new and all of them would take great care of it.

A mechanic where I traded my beloved 69 Mach 1 bought it when I traded it in on that 84 Dodge Daytona Tubro Z POS.
He ran it up on a boulder and pushed in the front end under the bumper.... :tisk:
Never saw it again after than....assume he totaled it eventially and then it was crushed.
I give you a couple years and you will be back in something with more HP even though I do think you made the right choice for now!

I traded in my 76 camaro when I was in the military...I heard the guy who bought it, flipped it into a ditch...my 97 Firebird is still sitting in my Father's garage!

I had a '76 Camaro. Silver with the little silver half vinyl top and firethorn cloth interior. I saw it about 3 years after I sold it. The guy had TORN IT UP! The vinyl top was peeling off and he had even broken out the little "fasten seat belt" light. REALLY?!?!?! How the hell do you do that.

Yeah...I'm happy for now for sure. I can just keep my eye on what comes along. I'm anxious to see if I like that C7. Still don't know if I can ever go G.M. again.

Gawd. You had a '69 Mach 1? That was the Cleveland, right? Had one in a '70 Torino, much heavier. You could probably smoke the tires for quite a while in the Mustang. The Torino was a 3spd manual, would do 75 in second gear.

Crappy is not appropriate word to use in this situation. Ricer is a better word. :rotflmao
