Before I start taking my trunk apart I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a sat hookup in the trunk if my 03 G35 coupe? EverthingG35.com has a ipod factory intergration adapter for the stock Bose system with the sat option but the instillation pics are if a sedan not a coupe. Any info will help and save me a bit of time..Thanks all.....

I'm not sure where it's supposed to hook-up to the headunit, but most devices designed to interface with factory headunit's SAT connections plug in behind the stereo itself.

If the product you're looking at plugs into the SAT harness in the rear, then simply pull up the spare tire cover, pull the spare and remove the plastic cover that sits to the left of the spare. It's a couple of bolts IIRC. If your G35 is prewired for SAT radio then you'll see an unused plug near the factory amplifier which will be quite easy to see nce you remove that cover.

There is a link to a set of PDF install instructions on that page. Looks like it plugs into the harness inteh trunk after all. Looks like the install instructions was on a Sedan though and the pre-wiring for the sat was in the trunk just behind the rear seat. On the coupe I had, it was located near the amp where I stated earlier.

Thanks for the info. I checked the trunk and I didn't find the Sat hookup so I think I have to run a OEM cable form the HU..
