I am looking at a 2004 I35. Not the best color, platinum, but the interior looks like it came off the showroom floor, and it only has 75K on it. I previously had a Royal Ruby 2002 I35, but got rear-ended and they totaled it. My question is, I thought I read once that 03-04 I35's came wired for satellite radio. Does anyone know if that's true ? I don't see an antenna on the car, (except the regular radio in the rear window) and the seller doesn't  know. It was his father's car, and he recently passed away.

Have him check the radio button to go through fm1 fm2 ,and am stations. If you keep clicking on it and see xm then it is installed. If it goes back to fm1 then you don't have it installed, usually there is an antenna that is on the outside of the car but I've seen them mounted inside the trunk but that doesn't get good reception.
If it doesn't have xm, you may be able to add it to the stock system. Problem is that the 04 i35 models have two wiring harness models. One will have the car wired up for the xm receiver and hookup to the back of the radio and the other will not. I can not help you and tell you if it does or not but maybe contact an Infiniti dealership and maybe they can tell you by the vin number
