SAT RADIO

My brother is buying a 09 coupe (2.5 ) today. Is it true to get SAT that you need the Bose radio ?

I have a 05 Maxima and dont have the BOSE radio but have SAT capabilities

You need to add the premium package to get the Satellite Radio or Bose.

Do you know if all the cars come with the necessary wiring in them already & he would just need to change the head unit and get a SAT antena ?

I'm not sure about the actual wiring, but IF it were present you'd also need the separate satellite tuner box (that goes in the trunk). The base radio is satellite capable because my factory iPod adapter uses the satellite interface on the radio. If you have the iPod connection kit or the tuner attached to the radio, when you press the "Radio" button you get AM, FM, and then XM; There isn't a separate button for the satellite.
