i just wanna know how accurate the knock reading on the safc2 is?

i dont think its all that correct myself.on mine it dosent read nothing to after you drive the car for about 45 mins.then at idle it reads about 5 and when you start going it reads 0.so dont know if anyone else is doing the same but i dont know what swrong.

what does the knock sensor for what does it tell you and what does it mean if the # is high because my friends own is reading 7 i think thats what he said

it won't tell you if your having little knock. but if your getting really bad knock, it will spike to about 50-70, then be worried. i used to data log my dyno runs with it and where i would loose power, my knock had gone up on the safc.

Its useless. It's mean to read from a generic raw knock signal from a sensor such as the J&S knock sensor.
