I'm glad gas prices have gone up. Maybe now all the "conspicuous consumption" idiots who drive huge SUV's will realise how dumb they are. In all reality, I would like to see gas similar to that offered in japan or the UK, its cleaner, and costs much more. Japanese gas has a LOT less sulfur and other contaminates in it than US gas does, and yeilds better fuel economy, emissions, and less detonation(higher octane) but it costs over 3 dollars per gallon.

again, I wouldnt mind paying 4 dollars per gallon for cleaner fuel, thusly forcing the USV people to rethink their choice in automobiles..if they can afford it, more power to them, I'll stick to my fuel efficient, fun cars like my 240sx, BMW, etc....-chet

You guys do realise that America has the cheapest gas prices in the world, right? Quit complaining- or go to europe and spend $7 a gallon. As if we dont already go through enough trouble to get our gas prices down.... jeeeeez

I don't like paying $4.00 a friggin gallon for 100 octane but the cars must have the best and the best costs money.:(

Irag is only #9 on our oil suppliers list. what we really need to do, is take over Canada and Venezula. They're 1 & 3. and its the cost to turn oil into gas that makes it high, if the companies dont refine as much, then the prices will go up.

I just paid $2.09 to put 89 in the BMW. And that's CHEAP for around here. I've seen premium (91, grrr california) at like $2.44 I think.

The gas price will go down if that strike in Venezula end. If it ever end.

$2.17 up here in North Bend, Washington (about 30 miles from Seattle) for premium. Though I do live RIGHT on Interstate 90, so that's why. Even Costco (huge wholesale warehouse) is expensive - $1.92 (for premium.) Damn gas. And racing season is starting!

I live in East county of SD and premium gas is like 2.25 here for 91 octane. What I wouldn't give for some higher quality gas tho...

P.S. Haven't figured out how expensive my new 240sx is gonna be on gas since I just got it. Should be alot better then my Chevy 4x4!

Edit: Gas is now in the 2.30's... GOD it's climbing everyday!
